Some of Jessica Alba Mama's friends and family descended upon Ever After Tea room in Studio City Sunday for a baby shower. About 35 people through a gantlet of paparazzi get to the party, including her sister Alba, Rashida Jones, Jaime King and Kim Kardashian, who told E! News his gift included "stuff from my store, Smooch." The guests began arriving in at 1 pm, and Alba has entered at exactly 1:30, wearing a long black dress, a pair of sunglasses, hair down. She was hustled into via side entrance. The shower took place outside under umbrellas whites. Lavendar and white dominated the scene, and the soundtrack was definitely on the soft side, with Buena Vista Social Club, Sade and light jazz.The menu included white wine, soda, coffee and iced tea and an assortment of ice cream, beverages, skewered tiger prawns and soft-fired chicken, and for dessert, white and dark chocolate dip strawberries, mini doughnut varieties, mini-custard tarts and Mini lightning. Participants have received large turquoise goodie bags.
At 1:45 pm, Alba began to unpack a pile of gifts, including high-end strollers and cribs, and baskets of Dr. Seuss books, rattles and clothing. He was a giant stuffed white rabbit and many bouquets of flowers. Many of the clothes were a gender-neutral yellow or green, but the guests Alba said she was expecting a daughter in June.
Daddy Cash Warren arrived about an hour and a half after the party began, entering through back alley, and later escorted his fiancée-out bumps on the scene.
